Gilchrist's Island - A Three-Hour Tour, April 16

Just sit right back, and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a scholarship.  GEF is raising scholarship funds for the upcoming year, and you are cordially invited to join us on Friday, April 16, 2010.

We will set sail from the Park Avenue Baptist Church gym and spend a fun evening on an uncharted desert isle.  Enjoy a delicious island dinner (pulled pork, Caribbean chicken, black beans and rice, plantains, key lime mousse, and more), fun games, and live and silent auctions.  Tom Porter will be returning as our skipper and auctioneer.

Cost is only $22 per person for general seating or $180 for a premium reserved table for six.  All proceeds go to scholarships and grants to Park Avenue Christian Academy and Temple Christian School.

Auction highlights include tickets to Disney, Sea World, Wet and Wild, Gator Land, Arabian Nights, Orlando Science Center, KSC Visitors’ Center, and Central Florida Zoo. Plus a deep-sea fishing trip, handmade jewelry and hand-knitted items, certificates to shops and restaurants, student projects, gift baskets, and much more!
