GEF Light the Way 5K Each year on the third Saturday in January, the GEF hosts the Light the Way 5K to raise funds for scholarships and school facilities upgrades. The Light the Way 5K is part of the Titusville Racing Series and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are an elite runner, a recreational runner, or a mom pushing a stroller with friends, please plan on joining us on the third Saturday in January for a fun morning in support of Christian education in North Brevard County. Please join us for the second annual GEF Light the Way 5K on January 19, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. at Park Avenue Christian Academy in Titusville. We provide awards in fourteen age categories, T-shirts, and refreshments. We also feature team competitions (with awards for male, female, coed, or youth) and shorter races for younger children (no registration required).
