The GEF's primary objective is to further the educational development of young people in our community. Most of our operating funds go to provide partial student scholarships to local Christian schools.
The Art Winckel Memorial Scholarship Program
These need-based scholarships provide students with a source of annual tuition assistance.
Annual scholarship applications are usually due on June 1st, and decisions for assistance are generally made by July 1st.

GEF Emergency Assistance Scholarships
Knowing that illness or unexpected circumstances can arise, the GEF has created a fund to help families who are experiencing extraordinary, but temporary, financial hardship. Assistance is limited to available funds, and all decisions for support are made on a case-by-case basis.
