Our Vision, Mission, and Objectives

Believing that children are a gift from God to their parents and that children's education should encompass all aspects of their develpment - spirit, mind, and body - the Gilchrist Educational Foundation was created to help the families of our community train up their children in the way that they should go.

Our vision is to create an environment where the families of our community can choose a high-quality, Christian educational experience for their children.

To that end, our mission is to work with local schools to develop financial resources and further the educational principles of Christian education in North Brevard.

To accomplish our mission, we have established the following objectives:

  • The GEF will provide financial resources (in the form of annual scholarship and emergency assistance) to families seeking a Christian education for their children.
  • The GEF will develop and provide financial resources to Christian schools for teacher training, program enhancements, and capital improvements.
  • The GEF will be committed to furthering the principles and practices of Christian education in our community.
  • The GEF will work to honor the Christian educators of our community.
